Jason attended Vanderbilt University where he majored in English Literature. He received his law degree from the University of Louisville. Jason is licensed in both Kentucky and Indiana. He currently is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, the Elizabethtown Bar Association, Kentucky Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, Kentucky Academy of Hospital Attorneys, Trucking Industry Defense Association, and the Christian Legal Society.

Jason is a trial attorney. He has a heavy caseload and concentrates his practice in civil litigation, where he handles a wide variety of cases involving medical malpractice defense, hospital law, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability claims, construction issues, products liability actions, insurance defense, and commercial and banking litigation. He also serves as general counsel for several area corporations, schools, and church-based organizations. Jason recently was rated by his peers with a "BV" peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell, an excellent rating for a relatively young attorney.

Jason is admitted to the Supreme Court of Kentucky, Supreme Court of Indiana, United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Indiana, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He has tried and argued at all levels of our court system. He recently argued a case before the Sixth Circuit United States Court of Appeals. He is a frequent lecturer at seminars and local schools.

Jason is active in the Elizabethtown community where he is as a member of the Elizabethtown-Hardin County Chamber of Commerce. He is a 1997 Graduate of Leadership Elizabethtown and has served as the Chairman of Elizabethtown Civil Service Commission. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Heartland Crisis Pregnancy Center. Jason is active in his local church where he has served as a Deacon, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Chairman of Personnel Administration Team, prayer ministry member, and as an Upward Basketball coach. He currently enjoys teaching Sunday School, running, and spending time with his wife Janae and their two (2) young daughters, Ann Elizabeth and Mary.
